About Your Job:
In this role, you will ensure airport operations run smoothly, in a cost-effective manner and customers are provided with Qatar Airways Five Star Service Promise. You will ensure check-in, boarding, special services and baggage services are carried out as per company commercial and safety standards and procedures. You will ensure passengers and their baggage is handled in a consistent and efficient manner.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Continuous liaison with Check-in, Transfer Desk, and other related areas for the smooth acceptance of passengers
- Liaising with check-in, transfer desk, and support the Airport Services Supervisor in all areas
- Escort and direct Arriving/Departing passengers to the respective areas such as Hotel Desk, Visa Counter, Transfer Desk, Premium Lounges, and Boarding Gates
- Assisting Duty Officer to handle company materials and records
- Liaising with GHA to ensure quick processing of hotel and transfer passengers
- Assisting passengers in regard to Entry Requirements, VISAs, and Residence Permits etc.
About You:
You will, ideally, be educated to degree level with approx. two years of experience in a similar capacity. You will have sound customer service experience and exposure to Altea. A good understanding of airport procedures associated with mishandled baggage etc. is required. Completion of a Passenger Handling and Customer Service course such as The Introduction to Civil Aviation and Passenger Handling is required. You will have a pleasant personality and be willing to work shift work, including nights as required.
You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English to perform this role.
