ABOUT WFP
The World Food Programme Operations in Ukraine stared in late 2014 as part of the United Nations' response to the humanitarian crisis created by the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Currently the Programme is implementing a Protracted Relief and Rehabilitation Operation (PRRO), the main focus of which is to address food needs of the most vulnerable people affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine and providing support for early recovery. In 2015 the global community adopted the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development to improve people's lives by 2030.
